BACHMANN is a module that can measure and output various signals. BACHMANN Each Bachmann channel can be used as an analog or digital output or input. Various sensors and actuators can be connected using standard signal current (0/4 to 20 mA) and voltage (± 10 V). The 16 bit resolution allows measurement results to be obtained from signals that do not fully use the measurement range (for example, 0 to 5 V). BACHMANN Bachmann GIO212 temperature plays an important role in more and more processes, which is why the module supports Pt100/Pt1000 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire measurements, as well as all standard types of thermocouples. Similarly, the Bachmann GIO212 channel can be used as a digital input, and can also be configured as an interrupt input and a digital 32-bit counter. The value of the pulse length or period measurement can be filled in the FIFO (1022 values). Fast digital 24 V output can be selected as push-pull, high side or low side. Bachmann GIO212 output can be controlled as simple output or PWM/frequency output. The frequency mode allows the stepper motor output stage to be controlled by the number of output pulses or a freely selectable configuration file (FIFO). Each channel can use up to two signal types at the same time. This allows up to 24 channels per GIO212. BACHMANN Bachmann GIO212 analog sensor can be powered by digital output (short circuit prevention and monitoring), read back actuator signal and digital signal of monitoring analog. Therefore, this is a single universal module for countless applications, rather than a different module for each signal type. BACHMANN Bachmann GIO212 is a cost-effective solution that simplifies logistics and services.
