The introduction of the ABB intelligent valve controller provides great convenience for the production of various chemical processes such as petroleum, papermaking, and metallurgy in China. ABB locator is a digital communication tool of field actuators to assist in the integrated management of instruments and systems.

ABB locator TZID/TZID-C uses TEIP11 as the core component, combined with processing technology, built-in communication function, through the installation of suitable for rotation and straight stroke valve control, positioning accuracy is high, travel range is large. This is also the key difference with the Siemens locator.

ABB positioner straight stroke in 20-150mm, rotation type: 125 degrees, (Siemens positioner only 100 degrees), gas capacity ≥ 13.5kg /H, gas consumption ≤ 0.03kg /H, through automatic zero/range adjustment, simplify the debugging process.

The ABB locator uses sensor technology for temperature and position compensation and features vibration resistance up to 10G, 10-15Hz, and a temperature range from -40 °C to +85°C.

Through HART or PROFIBUS /FF communication interface, establish the implementation contact between the site and the control room, and directly conduct parameter debugging and status monitoring. The output of free configuration can greatly improve the output characteristics of the ball valve and butterfly valve. The economical ball valve and butterfly valve + intelligent valve positioner can be used to achieve the characteristics of the off/off valve and regulating valve at the same time.

The ABB locator ensures switching speed when large cylinder actuators are matched. In some large pipeline lines, the actuator is very large and the locator output is limited. In this case, the pneumatic repeater can be increased, and the air output of the repeater can be controlled by the positioner to improve the operating speed of the valve.
