Description

JP 1 through JP4 (rack ID jumpers) jumpered tothe proper position for Rack ID.
JP43 remains in its default position (as shippedfrom factory). This allows the SYSFAIL signal to beactivated by the IC697 CPU (SYSFAIL required byIC697 I/O modules).
JP44 remains in its default position. This jumpersthe LWORD signal in slot 1 to inactive (for IC697modules) allowing only 16-bit wide data transfers.
VME modules can be installed in either the IC697module slots (2PL to 9PL) or in the VME slots(12PL to 19PL).
If VME modules are installed in the IC697 moduleslots (2PL to 9PL) that use the signals IRQ1/ -IRQ4/, then you must install up to four jumpers,as appropriate, in positions that are located to theimmediate left of the IC697 slots in use.
If the VME modules are installed in VME slots(12PL to 19PL), and the board passes the BusGrant and IACK signals, you must remove fivejumpers for each slot being used. Leave these jumpers in if the board does not pass the Bus Grant and IACKdaisy chain signals. These jumpers are the top fourto the immediate right of the slot being used andthe lower (of two jumpers) to the immediate left ofthe slot being used.
