Description

This configuration consists of a 3rd party Controller inslot 1PL and 3rd party VME modules in the remaining slots (2PL to 9PL and 12PL to 19PL). Note thateach slot has a jumper that allows the SYSFAIL/ signalto be disabled to that slot since all VME modules maynot require access to that signal.VME Jumper Positions
To configure slot 1 for a 3rd party controller, fivejumpers must be moved. There are four jumpersbehind the power supply (JP1 to JP4) that must bemoved to positions JP39 to JP42 and jumper JP44must be moved from its default position to theright.
If VME modules are installed in the IC697 moduleslots (2PL to 9PL) and they use the IRQ1/ - IRQ4/signals, then you must install four jumpers in thepositions that are located to the immediate left ofthe IC697 module slots in use.
If the VME modules are installed in VME slots(12PL to 19PL), and the board passes the BusGrant and IACK signals, you must remove fivejumpers for each slot being used. Leave these jumpers in if the board does not pass the Bus Grant and IACKdaisy chain signals. These jumpers are the top fourto the immediate right of the slot being used andthe lower (of two jumpers) to the immediate left ofthe slot being used.
