Description


The Allen-Bradley 1769-OF4 module is an analog output module that produces voltage/current signals. This module has Four (4) single-ended outputs, with an output voltage range of 0 to 10 volts and 0-20 mA. The modules resolution is 15-bit unipolar/bipolar with a draw current of 120 mA at 5.1 Volts. The module’s maximum heat dissipation rating of 2.86 Watts and a 3.8-millisecond interruption-enabled maximum conversion rate. The 1769-OF4 module has a 2.9-millisecond step response rating of 63% and a resistivity load of 0 to 600 Ohms of current or 1 KOhms; or greater of voltage. The 1769-OF4 has a maximum inductive load of 0.1 mH of current load and 1.0 µF of voltage load. It has an accuracy margin of 0.5% (full scale at 25 degrees Celsius), and an output ripple of +/- 0.05% at 0 to 50 kilohertz.


This analog output module has an accuracy drift of +/- 0.0086% (per degree Celsius) and a non-linearity margin of +/- 0.05%. It also has a module error margin (at 0 to 60 degrees Celsius) of +/-0.8%, and repeatability of +/-0.05%. The 1769-OF4 module has an output impedance of <1 MOhm for voltage output and >1 MOhms for current output. The 1769-OF4 module has current circuit protection of up to 40 mA and protection against excess voltage. It has a power up/power down output response of less than 1 millisecond and operational voltage rated at 30 Volts DC. It has a weight of 280 G (0.61 pounds) and module dimensions of 118 by 35 by 87 millimeters (4.65 by 1.38 by 3.43 inches).

The 1769-OF4 is an Allen-Bradley Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) component specifically used as analog output module of MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix controller. This analog output module is designed to provide to drive modulating Final Control Elements (FCE) of a particular control loop such as modulating valves, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), Dampers, Louvers and indicating devices such as indicators, recorders, data loggers and other devices.
