Introduction

The 1746-HSRV servo control module is a single-axis, closed-loop servo controllerwhich can be operated with a variety of SLC 500 processors and features block executionindependent of the scan time of the processor. For fast and accurate control, the modulemonitors encoder feedback up to 300 kHz.Ladder logic controls all of the motion. Complicated moves are accomplished usingblended motion profiles stored in the module’s internal memory and can be executedrepeatedly. The profiles are stored as a series of absolute moves, and additional moves orhoming operations can be performed between blended moves. The module can reset theabsolute position when an encoder marker pulse is detected.
