Description


The 1791-OB32 module is a FLEX I/O digital DC output module that has been designed, manufactured, and distributed by Allen-Bradley. This module comes with a flexus connector, a latching mechanism, a key switch, a terminal base, an alignment bar, and the module itself. When installing the Allen-Bradley 1791-OB32 FLEX I/O digital DC output module, there is a series of proper steps to follow. One of the main steps is to avoid electrostatic discharge since it can cause damages to this kind of device. The recommended base for this module is the Allen-Bradley 1794-TB32 base and the 1794-TB32S base, and both bases can be found in the Allen-Bradley catalog.


The Allen-Bradley 1791-OB32 FLEX I/O digital DC output module includes 32 current and sourcing outputs, an isolation voltage of 50 Volts, and an on-state voltage of 10 to 31.2 Volts DC. This module also comes with a thermal dissipation of 18.1 BTU per hour and a surge current of 2 Amps for 50 milliseconds (repeatable every 2 seconds). The physical attributes of the Allen-Bradley 1791-OB32 FLEX I/O digital DC output module consists of an approximate weight of 85 grams, an external DC power voltage source, and several status indicators. This module comes with 32 yellow status indicators that show whether the module is operating correctly or not. To extend and maintain the life of the Allen-Bradley 1791-OB32 FLEX I/O digital DC output module, it is important to maintain an operating temperature of 55 degrees Celsius maximum and relative humidity level of 5 to 95%. The outputs are electronically protected so fuses are not required
