Description

The Allen-Bradley 1756-L63XT is a ControlLogix controller that hasbeen made to withstand extreme temperatures. This controller is also known asan extreme environment ControlLogix controller, as it has an operatingtemperature than is higher than most controllers. The 1756-L63XT's operatingtemperature ranges from -25 to 70 Degrees Celsius, while its storagetemperature is from -40 to 85 Degrees Celsius. It also has a maximumsurrounding air temperature of 70 Degrees Celsius. However, the surrounding airtemperature range lessens a bit when you use the 1756-A7LXT chassis even withthe 1756-L63XT controller; the range becomes -25 to 60 Degrees Celsius, whichis ten Degrees Celsius lower. But when the controller is used with the FLEXI/O-XT products, it can withstand -20 to 70 Degrees Celsius, 5 Degrees Celsiuscolder than when it is used by itself.

This controller has a user memory of 8 MB and an I/O memoryof 478 kb available for your use. You can also use an optionalnonvolatile memory for it, although you can only use the 64 MB (1784-CF64) or128 MB CompactFlash memory cards (the 1784-CF128). It also has a 1 port RS-132serial built-in communication port. The ControlLogix chassis compatible withthis controller are 1756-A4LXT, 1756-A5XT, 1756-A7LXT, and the 1756-A7XT.
