Sensor Signal Converter designed for critical turbo machinery applications such assteam, gas and hydro turbines, compressors, pumps and fans to measure radial andaxial shaft displacement, position, eccentricity and speed/key The eddy current transducer togetherwith a signal converter CON form anoscillator circuit, who’s amplitude ofoscillation is damped by the proximity ofa metallic object in front of the transducer. The damping characteristics isproportional to the distance between thetransducer face and the measuringobject.The transducers with the convertersare delivered fully adjusted so that no„on site calibration“ is required. Only thegap between the transducer and theobject has to be adjusted, to get the specified signal at the converter output
