Description

The eddy current transducer togetherwith a signal converter CON form anoscillator circuit, who’s amplitude ofoscillation is damped by the proximity ofa metallic object in front of the transducer. The damping characteristics isproportional to the distance between thetransducer face and the measuringobject.The transducers with the convertersare delivered fully adjusted so that no„on site calibration“ is required. Only thegap between the transducer and theobject has to be adjusted, to get the specified signal at the converter output.

When installing remote mount antennas for the Gateway, always use established safetyprocedures to avoid falling or contact with high-power electrical lines.Install remote antenna components for the Gateway in compliance with local and nationalelectrical codes and use best practices for lightning protection.Before installing consult with the local area electrical inspector, electrical officer, and workarea supervisor.The Gateway remote antenna option is specifically engineered to provide installationflexibility while optimizing wireless performance and local spectrum approvals.
