This invariably increasesprocess availability, allowing uninterrupted process operation in case of anysystem degradation. Online system modification procedures have beenredesigned and simplified, resulting in significantly improved application orsystem upgrades during plant start-ups or throughout the life-time of theprocess operation. It is estimated that up to 20% process uptime improvementcan be achieved as a result of the above system enhancements.

The Safety Builder improves engineering and design efficiency. With the newlydeveloped Network Configurator, designing safety networks has never beeneasier. With simple drag & drop functionality a complete network can bedesigned within minutes. Difficult and complex configurations no longer need tobe programmed, 

as the Safety Builder will do this and will save valuableengineering and testing time. Moreover, the complete network design isavailable on a one-page view, no longer requiring additional documentation andprogramming. 

The proven in use Functional Logic Diagram (FLD) Editor facilitates fast andeffective application design allowing clear and distinct views of all logic, with fullcompliance to IEC 61131 standards. Logic inputs, outputs and symbols areplaced with drag & drop functionality from the toolbar and are easilyconfigurable.Safety Manager R120, will provide several enhancements to make the life of aproject engineer easier.
