Description

The enclosure has the dusttight and weatherproofrating of IP66 as defined by IEC 60529 and providesthe environmental and corrosion resistant protectionrating of NEMA 4X.Electronics Housing and Housing CoversHousing has two compartments to separate theelectronics from the field connections. The housingand covers are made from low copper (0.6%maximum) die-cast aluminum alloy with an epoxyfinish, or from 316 ss. Buna-N O-ring seals are usedto seal the threaded housing covers, housing neck,and terminal block.Two 1/2 NPT, PG13.5, or M20 conduit threads onsides of transmitter housing. Unused connectionmust be plugged (metal plug is offered) to ensuremoisture/RFI protection. See “MODEL CODE -IGP10 SERIES FOR HIGH GAUGE PRESSUREMEASUREMENT” on page 19 for optional cableglands and thread adapters.Electrical TerminationsField wires enter through the conduit connectionsdescribed above and terminate under screwterminals and washers on the terminal block in thefield terminals compartment.
