Description

HART (Version -T) Communications4 to 20 mA Analog ModeAnalog output signal is updated 30 times persecond. A minimum loop load of 250 ohms isrequired. See Table 1 for communicationparameters and Figure 5 for 4 to 20 mA outputblock diagram.Multidrop Mode (Fixed Current)This Mode supports communications with up to15 transmitters on a single pair of signal/powerwires. The output signal is updated 4times/second. A minimum loop load of250 ohms is required. See Table 1 forcommunication parameters and Figure 6 for atypical multidrop block diagram

Fieldbus is a serial, two-way communication systemthat runs at 31.25 kbits/s. The digital output signal issuperimposed on the dc power signal on the bus,and controlled by a strict cycle schedule andprotocol. Supply voltage, 9 to 32 V dc, is by aspecific Fieldbus power source. The maximumnumber of devices on a non-intrinsically safe bus is32. For intrinsically safe bus systems, the maximumnumber is 6.
