Description

The first four columns of the configuration guide show specifically which parameters must beconfigured correctly to set up the particular transmitter outputs you want. The fifth identifies theoptional and reference (Identity) features that can be configured.The sixth column lists the page numbers of this instruction that contain a brief writtendescription of the parameter. The seventh column refers to the figure number in Appendix A ofthe related software structure diagram for that parameter. This reference is helpful in finding thecorrect pages in Appendices A and BIn Setup (configuration) mode, you will need to move through a structure of parameters (usingthe arrow keys) to view and/or change the value or status of a particular parameter. The Up- andDown-arrow keys will also enable you to scroll through a menu in either direction. Structurediagrams, located in Appendix A, will aid you in doing this.Any parameter shown in { } brackets can be edited. For details, refer to Figure on page 22.The following example will show you how to use the keys in moving through the structure and inediting several parameters. For the example, we will configure the transmitter for a pulse rate URVof 150 GPM at a rate maximum frequency of 5000 Hz. In following this procedure, refer toFigure 8.
