Dual Function Zeroing is provided to allow zeroingwith the transmitter open to atmosphere, even whenthere is a nonzero-based range. This greatlysimplifies position effect zeroing on many pressureand level applications. It also applies to the LCDIndicator Pushbuttons and Optional External ZeroAdjustment (see Figure 3).Optional External Zero AdjustmentExternal pushbutton mechanism (Figure 3) isisolated from the electronics compartment andmagnetically activates an internal reed switchthrough the housing. This eliminates a potential leakpath for moisture or contaminants to get into theelectronics compartment. This zero adjustment canbe disabled by a configuration selection.Readable from I/A Series system or PC-basedConfigurator only.
