We are pleased to announce the newBently Nevada® 1900/65 GeneralPurpose Equipment Monitor. Thisflexible, cost-effective system isspecifically designed to continuously monitor and protect essentialand balance-of-plant equipmentassets in a wide range of industriesincluding: Oil & Gas, PowerGeneration, Water Treatment, Pulp& Paper, Manufacturing, Mining,Cement, and others.Traditional rack-based monitoringsystems like the Bently Nevada3500 Series are widely accepted forprotecting large, complex rotatingmachinery, but it is generally difficult to justify this type of continuous monitoring for less-criticalequipment. As a result, thesemachines typically operate withoutadequate protection. While simpledevices such as 4-20mA transmitters areavailable, they offervery limited capabilities and require additional devices toconvert the 4-20 mAsignals to “protection.”The 1900/65 Monitor is suitablefor monitoring and protecting cooling tower fans, pumps, blowers,motors, pulverizers, air compressors, small reciprocating compressors, small electric motors, smallhydro turbines, centrifuges, andother equipment assets. It canbe easily retrofit on existingmachines or used by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) forcost-effective inclusion on smallerskid-mounted and packagedmachines.
