The GE DC Power Supply and Instrumentation Board DS200SDCIG1AFB serves as an interface to DC2000 drives. First remove all current to the drive by performing the standard shutdown procedure and then remove the fuses to the power supplies to ensure all power is removed. Wait a length of time to allow all current to leave the drive and the board. If you have standard testing equipment at the site, use it to test for electrical current left in the capacitors.

Inspect the board and note where all cables are connected. Open the latches that hold the board in place in the drive and carefully remove the board from the drive. If ribbon cables are connected to the board, place a hand on the plastic connectors on the board and on the ribbon cable and pull them apart. Try not to put stress on the ribbon cable itself.
