The GE Fanuc IC670ALG240 module is a Field Control analog current input module. It has 16 input channels.

The IC670MDL730 discrete output module has 4 optional keyinglocations that are the A, C, J, and K keying location. It is designed to beused with a Profibus bus interface unit or an Interbus-S bus interface unit.This module has the capability to convert serial data from the bus interfaceunit into a parallel format by using its serial to parallel converter. It hasFETs that source the current to the load and they are driven by an externalpower supply. The IC670MDL730 electronic short-circuit protection output modulehas 3 types of protection functions which are overcurrent protection, shortcircuit protection, and an MOV. The MOV which is located across the powersupply line protects the module from voltage transients and surges. Make sureto consider specifications of the short circuit operations before selecting anexternal power supply because the external power supply must maintain theoutput voltage levels while also providing the short circuit energy.
