Description

The CPM 790 is a single slot programmable controllerCPU which allows floating point calculations. The CPM790 is programmed and configured with MS-DOS orWindows based programming software for use inEmergency Shut-Down (ESD), fire and gas, and othercritical control applications. It communicates with I/Oand smart option modules over the rack mountedbackplane (IC697CHS750, 782, 783, 790, 791) by way ofthe VME C.1 Standard format.The CPM 790 must be used in conjunction with aStandalone C program which provides Triple ModularRedundancy (TMR) operating and autotest routines. Itwill not operate unless this program is included in theloaded application program.
