Introduction
Appropriate firewalling and other Cybersecurity techniques, in accordance with AustralianStandard AS7770, and HIMA’s Cybersecurity Manual are to be implemented, particularly for theaccess to any vital communications and to the controllers PADT (SILWorX) port.
The automatic Temperature Monitoring setting for all HIMA units shall be set to “No warning attemperature thresholds” to avoid warning lights showing on the HIMA units. The temperaturestates of each unit are instead required to be manually monitored and reported.
Each HIMA unit is required to have a unique System and Rack ID. These IDs are to be uniqueacross ARTC’s network. These must be obtained from ARTC, such that they can ensure theycan ensure unique numbers are issued and keep their HIMA ID database update to date.
For both local and remote data changes, procedures and processes for programming new andexisting HIMA units, and the protection mechanisms for preventing units from being installed orconfigured with the incorrect data shall be in place.
