Description

The faceplate of the C300 Controller contains four LEDs and a four-characteralphanumeric display as shown in Figure 6. The labels on the LEDs are: Power, Status,FTE A and B.The Status LED uses a 3-color scheme of red, green and orange. Generally, greenindicates OK, red indicates power up tests, a fault or failure, and orange indicates backupmode. Blinking LEDs indicate a soft or hard failure and help to point to a problem. Softfailures also are indicated in other displays throughout the system. The four-characterdisplay provides additional controller status information, refer the Faceplate displayinformation. Directly below the display are two LEDs that indicate FTE activity

Freewheeling: A non-real time background task. The freewheelingtask is scheduled for a short period once every 256 ms. The time forwhich the task is scheduled will vary depending on the loading of thedrive's processor. When scheduled, several scans of the userprogram may be performed. Some scans may execute inmicroseconds. However, when the main drive functions are scheduledthere will be a pause in the execution of the program causing somescans to take many milliseconds. The parameter Onboard UserProgram: Freewheeling Tasks Per Second (11.050) shows thenumber of times the freewheeling task has started per second.
