Whether you need detailed calibration information, a process variable or just a tuning constant, data call-up is quick and efficient, thanks to an ingenious and patented FIM caching mechanism. Open Data Access (ODA) provides data from the Experion database, including Fieldbus information, when needed by another application or control system. ODA provides direct thirdparty access to all device parameters through several mechanisms, including OPC, ODBC Driver and Microsoft Excel Data Exchange.

The C300 controller directly integrateswith ISA100 wireless field devices. Any of the parameters from the wirelessdevices can be directly used in a control strategy like any other conventionalI/O. The configuration of the Wireless Device Manager hardware module and thewireless devices is carried out from the same control builder like any otherconventional I/O module or Fieldbus device. This allows complete operationalIntegration of the wireless technology with the ability to monitor, view andmanipulate process data from wireless devices, and view wireless device alarmsand events.
