The XYR5000 Serial Interface FTA (SI-FTA) is designed to gather data from Honeywell’sWireless Base Radio XYR5000 and present it in a reasonable format in APM or HPMarrays. While the XYR5000 is able to communicate as a Modbus Slave with the standardModbus Master SI-FTA, the data is provided in 5 floating point numbers. Using thisformat, there is a maximum of 48 transmitters per SI-FTA and obtaining the status flagsfrom the floating point number representing the transmitter statuses requires intensive CLwork.The XYR5000 Serial Interface FTA takes into account the specified Modbus locations ofthe value data for all 50 possible transmitters associated with the base radio and manipulatesthat data into a more reasonable format.
