Analog Input Module Introduction

Analog InputHigh and low level analog input (HLAI + LLAI - 8) processors both perform signal conversion andconditioning functions:• PV Source (Auto, Manual, Substituted) 

• PV Clamping

• EU Conversion 

• PV Rate-of-Change +/- 

• Software Calibration 

• Low PV Cutoff

The Low Level Multiplexer (LLMUX) processor provides an economical way to bring in a large number ofdata acquisition signals. Each processor can handle 32 points, using two 16-point FTAs. Every point isscanned once per second with a one second scan delay for processing. Open thermocouple detection isperformed every 30 seconds for all points. Options for either local or remote cold junction reference areavailable.
