The process data are only user data. That means they do not contain anyaddressing. The master preset new setpoints to the KEB COMBIVERT viaprocess output data. In the other data direction the KEB COMBIVERTinforms the master about certain actual values by means of process inputdata. For this the PROFIBUS operator reads cyclically the process inputdata from the inverter control adjusted by parameterPE_Cycle/PD_In_Cycle. Which parameters concern to the process data isdetermined by the process data assignment.The current software of the KEB-F5-PROFIBUS operator allows themapping of maximum16 byte both for process input data and processoutput data. Internal communication between operator and FI controlsupports only the transfer of maximum 8 byte process data into bothdirections. A second process data channel to the FI control is necessaryfor mappings with more than 8 byte process data.
