The MMS 6410 dual channel measuringamplifier measures shaft displacementswith the help of inductive transducers inhalf- or full bridge configuration or withthe help of differential transformers.Each measuring channel may operateseparately or calculate sum or differencevalues of the measuring results of bothchannelsThe MMS 6410 measuring amplifier permits measurement of static as well as ofdynamic signals such as displacements,angles, forces, torsions or any otherphysical quantities, that can bemeasured with inductive transducers.Measurements of displacements servethe construction of turbine protectionsystems. They provide signals foranalysis and diagnosis systems to befurther processed in field bus systemsand networks.Such cards of the MMS 6000 family aresuitable to build up systems forincreasing performance, efficiency andsafety of operation and to extend themachines' life times. Application fields ofthe epro measuring amplifiers aresteam, gas and water turbines,compressors, fans, centrifuges andother turbo machinery.
