Description

When a triggermark of soft ferromagnetic iron or steel approaches the transducer at right-angles (i. e. from the side) itdisturbs the magnetic field of the internal magnet, this unbalances the bridgeand switches the output voltage toHIGH. The signal is kept on HIGH untilthe rear edge of the triggermark passesthe sensor and causes an unbalance ofthe bridge in the opposite direction.The output signal is a pulsed voltagewith sharp pulse edges. So capacitivecoupling to subsequent electronic equipment is even possible at lowest triggerfrequencies.High quality electronic circuitry encapsulated in a robust stainless steelhousing and the Teflon insulation of theconnection cable (if necessary additionally protected by a flexible metal tube)ensure a trouble free operation even inharsh industrial environments. The plaintransducer surface allows simple oilproof and watertight installation bymeans of standard cable glands.
