Siemens transferred theenergy business into a new company, Siemens Energy AG,and in September 2020 listed it on the stock market via aspin-off. Siemens allocated 55.0% of its ownership interest in Siemens Energy AG to its shareholders and a further9.9% were transferred to Siemens Pension-Trust e.V. Theremaining 35.1% of shares in Siemens Energy AG are heldby Siemens and reported within Reconciliation to Consolidated Financial Statements as Siemens Energy Investment.
