The ABB DO840 Module is a 16 channel 24 V digitaloutput module for single or redundantapplication. This module has 16 digitaloutputs. The maximum continuous outputcurrent per channel is 0.5 A. The outputs arecurrent limited and protected against overtemperature. The outputs are divided into twogroups with eight output channels and onevoltage supervision input in each group.In addition to the four module LEDs, DO840 has one LED (Yellow/Red) perchannel (16) that indicate output state and channel error (Yellow = output isenergized, Off = output is de-energized, Red = channel error).DO840 is installed with TU830/TU833 Extended MTU Process Connections and is installed on a TU830/TU833 Extended MTU
