A GE Field Control IC670MDL740 12/24 VDC positive output module that provides a single group of 16 discrete outputs. The outputs on the GE Field Control IC670MDL740 are positive logic or sourcing–type outputs. GE Field Control IC670MDL740 has 16 bits (two bytes) of discrete output data.

The IC670MDL740J electronic short-circuit protection output moduleis a positive logic discrete output module from GE Fanuc. It offers 8 discreteoutputs that have electronic overcurrent and short circuit protection. Eachoutput point generates a fault waring if 1 of these 2 conditions has occurred.The IC670MDL740J discrete output module is compatible with the GE Fanucv Genius bus IC670MDL740J interface unit revision 2.10 or later. Some of theoutput characteristics of the module include 10 Amps of maximum inrush currentper point, 0.5 Volts of maximum steady-state overcurrent per point, 0.5milliamps of output leakage current at 30 Volts DC, and 20 Amps of shortcircuit response time for 100 microseconds.
