Description


The Allen-Bradley 1769-PB2 module is a CompactLogix I/O power supply. It measures 2.76 x 3.43 x 4.65 inches, it weighs approximately 1.16 pounds, and it can mount on a panel or a DIN rail. The users can only use a Wickmann 19193-6.3A or a Littelfuse 021706.3MXP fuse with this power supply. The 1769-PB2 has an open-type enclosure. The 1769-PB2 has terminal identification diagrams, finger-safe covers, upper and lower panel mounting tabs, and barrier-type terminal blocks. It can also provide maximum utilization of power supply output current capacity because it has the capacity to provide 1 Amp of current each to both sides of the power supply at 24 Volts DC or it can provide 2 Amps of current each at 5 Volts DC. It has a power supply distance rating of 8, allowing up to 8 I/O modules to be connected on each side of the power supply. It also has a line loss ride through a range of a minimum of 10 milliseconds and a maximum of 10 seconds.


The Allen-Bradley 1769-PB2 module has an input voltage range of 19.2 to 31.2 Volts DC, a nominal input voltage of 24 Volts DC, and an input frequency range of 47 to 63 Hertz. Its power consumption is 50 VA at 24 Volts DC while its maximum inrush current is 30 Amps at 31.2 Volts DC. It has a current capacity of 2 Amps at 5 Volts or one of 0.8 Amps at 24 Volts and a power dissipation of 7.5 Watts at 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The continuous isolation voltage of the 1769-PB2 is 75 Volts and the non-condensing relative humidity range is 5 to 95%. Its operating temperature range is 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, and its storage temperature range is -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. It can also withstand an operating vibration of 5 G at 10 to 500 Hertz, a non-operating shock of 50 G, and an operating shock of 30 G.
